Thank you for taking a moment to learn about my practice.  As a therapist of over 20 years, I truly enjoy working with people and feel like it is a gift every time someone shares their story with me.

Starting counseling is like opening a new chapter in your life.  It can be a game-changer.  But I understand that asking for help can be difficult and even scary.   I don’t bite!  Let’s talk on the phone and I will answer your questions.  In my practice, I view our work together as a team effort. I act as a “coach” : teaching, guiding, cheering, and pointing out tough spots in the emotional realm.

It takes a certain amount of strength to ask for help.  We need to break through those critical thoughts like “no one can help” or “I can do this by myself”.  We are all stronger every time we ask for help and learn new things.
